I love the spooky atmosphere the track begins with, and then the intense and energetic drop. That guitar part at 1:38 is just absolutely sicckk. Overall, solid track and I don't have too many major complaints. Starting from 1:10 to the end, the mix could use some more high end to bring up the energy, it's a little heavy on the low end. Other than that, I would be nitpicking at this point, like maybe more variation, like more noticeable elements after 8 bars. Nevertheless, lovely work.

Not a bad track, actually, it has a lot of potential but merely suffers from a few prominent issues. I think the main concern throughout the track is that the mix is somewhat scuffed, majority of the synths are too loud and/or clipping. Especially the second half, where more instruments are playing, it begins sounding really messy and garbled. Furthermore, the drums end up getting drowned out by the synths and made less impactful, possibly also from lack of sidechaining(?).
Overall, I genuinely like the ideas and concept you've got going, just be mindful of the mix.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

I'm still working on my skills mastering tracks, so that's definitely something to improve. My drums are sidechained to most of the synths, but in some places I definitely agree it probably wasn't enough. Most likely what I'll do in future is automate so that in the quieter section the drums aren't completely cutting everything else off.

When I first heard this, I thought of Ghosts 'n' Stuff by deadmau5. I wonder if that was used as inspiration?

Nevertheless, I think this track overall has a nice vibe. However, my only major gripe is that the mix is quite iffy. The organs at the start are rough and sharp, but they become noticeably subdued when the other instruments, like the bass and lead, come in. But the synths also suffer from the similar problem. The issue might be that the instruments are too loud and over-compressed(?). Another example of this is at 2:15.

I love the section at 1:00, though. I would've liked wider synths, but that might merely be preference.

Haha yeah, the Ghost’s n Stuff section was intentional. There really was no thought behind it, i just sort of did it since I had good enough material to work with. The track as a whole is basically inspired by Ghost’s n Stuff lol

Anyway, yeah the mixing in this track isn’t the best. I could’ve made the organ sound a little more cleaner and less sharp, especially at the beginning. I mostly use Soundgoodizer to make the sounds more pronounced. I’ll definitely see if i can use another option for mixing, maybe with Fruity Paramedic instead.

But, my favorite part of all is the piano at the end. I think the chord progressions I made had the perfect feeling to them: slightly melancholic and spooky, for lack of any better word haha.
